Doron Ofir Casting is searching for extraordinary, heartfelt, and emotionally resonant stories for a new documentary series celebrating the relationship between sneakers and the people who love them. Sometimes they’re just shoes. Sometimes they’re the pair your parent saved up to buy. The pair you wore when you finally made the team. The pair that carried you through the hardest chapter of your life. The pair you fell in love while wearing. The pair you’ll never throw away. We’re looking for real people with unforgettable stories. Collectors. Athletes. Artists. Creators. Dreamers. Sneakerheads. Everyday people whose lives have been shaped, inspired, transformed, or forever connected to a pair of sneakers. Whether your story is about family, identity, achievement, perseverance, creativity, community, loss, love, or personal transformation, we want to hear it. While we are especially interested in individuals ages 18–35, we welcome exceptional stories from people of all ages, backgrounds, communities, and walks of life. Because this isn’t really about sneakers. It’s about what they represent. And sometimes the story behind a pair of shoes tells the story of a life.
