A visually ambitious mixed-media short film blending nostalgic cinema, surreal motion design, and modern creative culture. After growing up idolizing his father — a fading western movie star who introduced him to filmmaking through old projected films and a handheld camera — a young filmmaker spends years chasing that same feeling of cinematic wonder in his own work. But as his creative process becomes consumed by timelines, endless revisions, overwhelming technology, and the pressure to create something meaningful, inspiration slowly turns into noise. As reality begins blending with motion graphics, projections, typography, and fragmented memories, the filmmaker becomes trapped inside an increasingly surreal creative overload. Only by reconnecting with the instinctive joy that first made him fall in love with filmmaking does he finally rediscover his artistic voice. Using a blend of 16mm film, practical projection, live-action cinematography, and stylized mixed media, The Feeling explores creativity, grief, artistic identity, and the tension between human expression and modern technology.
