18+ to play 16, Hispanic. Mia Hernandez is a romantic, introspective teenager who filters her understanding of love through the heightened lens of telenovelas, craving passion, destiny, and emotional intensity. Beneath her dreamy exterior, she is quietly evolving, learning to assert her independence and question the narratives she has internalized about romance and self-worth. She is sensitive to how others perceive her, particularly around body image and desirability, yet she shows resilience as she begins to define her own desires. Mia’s emotional journey is driven by a tension between fantasy and reality, ultimately pushing her toward a more grounded understanding of love. *While no nudity is required, talent must be comfortable with intimacy (passionate kissing, caressing and implied sex). An on-set intimacy coordinator will be present for all levels of intimacy. Additionally, there is some action work in which Mia punches Danny. There will be a stunt coordinator present for all action work.
