About the Job
Detective Don Archer was a Dallas Police detective in the Auto Theft Bureau who in 1963 was assigned as security to Trade Mart, where JFK was supposed to have given a speech before his tragic assassination. He later witnessed the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald, interviewed Jack Ruby (the person who murdered Lee Harvey Oswald), and testified in court for the trial of Jack Ruby. He was 31 years old at the time.
