About the Job

We are casting for the Jōmon people of Japan who specifically lived around 1300 BCE. The Jōmon people lived in Japan from approximately 14,000 BCE to 300 BCE and were known for their work with cord-marked pottery. They were a hunter-gatherer society. We are covering historical events and theories surrounding the discovery of a skeleton found at an archaeological dig site in Tsumoko, Japan that is possibly one of the oldest skeletons/victim of a shark attack. We are casting multiple actors for this role including a Jōmon fisherman who gets attacked by a shark; another will play a Jōmon villager who is a murderer. *Must be comfortable around water* *Must be comfortable with filming gory/violent content*
