Could skew witty tío-energy or disarmingly sweet buddy. Vibe: Will Arnett in Spanish. Wry Best-Friend: Quick, dry, wise, deep tone, teasing, never mean. It should feel interesting and raspy, yet not ‘sexy’ or ‘attractive’. Dry Stand-Up: Crisp timing, observational quips. Acting Notes: Crisp pace, musicality, smile in the read. Land name “Martha” warmly (not scolding). Tag line should feel smug-playful, not snarky. Spanish: Clear diction; avoid heavy slang. Button line rhythm is key: “¿Nunca vio calcetines que habla?” Notes from the director: We need less radio personalities or radio host type of voices, we need actors who get the character and also not full cartoons out of them.
