About the Job

We’re casting a boy with a thoughtful or curious presence — someone who feels like they’s observing the world a little differently from everyone else. We’re looking for expressive faces that tell a story even in stillness — the kind of kid who might notice details adults miss, or who seems just a little out of place in his surroundings. Reminder: This is a personal creative project with a modest $100 honorarium as a thank-you for your participation. You will receive lunch, a digital version of the photograph, and credit. About the Project: A stylized 1970s-inspired photo and short motion portrait series by photographer Justin Bettman, known for his cinematic, character-driven imagery. Each image will look like a film still — rich with storytelling, mood, and detail. Google him to get a sense of the style of the work.
